A typical recruitment process in City Interactive consists of the following stages*:
Stage I: Applications - all the CVs we receive are analysed by our HR department. We evaluate among others to what extent the information included in the CV is compatible with the requirements specified in the advertisement. This initial stage ends with selecting a few people who are then invited for an interview.
Stage II: An interview with a member of our HR department. During this meeting we try to confirm the candidate's abilities, as well as take a close look at his or her personality. We pay special attention to the question of whether the candidate will fit in with our team. In some cases we decide to introduce additional elements of the recruitment process, such as a sample, a case study or tests.
Stage III: A meeting with our HR manager and someone from the appropriate department (usually the prospective direct superior). Sometimes the chairman of City Interactive takes part in this meeting too, seeing as this stage is designed as a final verification of the candidate. Only 2 or 3 people receive an invitation to this stage of the recruitment process.
Stage IV: Choosing the candidate - we make the final decision. All the interviewees are informed about the results of the recruitment.
Stage V: Conditions and requirements - most of these were already mentioned during the recruitment process (such as recompense, duties, type of employment, date of employment commencement). This meeting is only supposed to confirm all previous arrangements, clear any remaining doubts, answer all the candidate's questions and specify all final details.
Stage VI: Introduction to the company - in the first days the employee is introduced and trained in the scope of his or her duties, getting to know the team, the company structure as well as the rules and regulations.
* Depending on the post and the work specific the recruitment process may diverge from the above outlined stages.
